Audi A6 Avant 2025 This is the new Audi A6 Avant, and unlike most new cars being revealed these days, which are just electric, this one has a petrol and a diesel engine—though obviously not together; those are your choices. Anyhow, it’s been completely redesigned inside and out and comes packed with new technology. But what does this mean for the rest of the Audi lineup? What about the RS6, for example? Here’s an overview blog.
Audi A6 Avant 2025 – Engine and Performance

In the UK, there will be two engines: a 2.0-liter turbocharged four-cylinder petrol and a 2.0-liter turbocharged four-cylinder diesel. Both versions have an eight-speed automatic gearbox. The petrol model is front-wheel drive, but the diesel has Quattro all-wheel drive and a 48-volt mild hybrid system. A 261-hp turbocharged 2.0-liter four-cylinder and a 335-hp turbocharged 3.0-liter V-6. The 2.0 one produced 340 Nm of torque, but the diesel one returned 400 Nm of torque.
Interior & Tech Innovations in Audi A6 Avant 2025

Audi has changed its car naming strategy, and the new A6 Avant does not disappoint with its interior. It gets Audi’s latest panoramic driver’s display and infotainment touchscreen. There’s also an optional display for the passenger, loads of ambient lighting as standard, and a huge panoramic sunroof with switchable elements. You get adaptive cruise control, 360° parking cameras, and Park Assist Plus, where the car can literally park itself.
Practicality

The new A6 Avant isn’t as practical as it once was. In the old A6 Avant, you got 565 liters of boot space, but now the entry-level petrol only gives 503 liters, and the diesel has 466 liters. You do get an electric boot as standard with a kick-to-open feature.
RS6 Possibilities
There’s a new RS6 with an internal combustion engine on the way. The next RS6 is expected to be a plug-in hybrid. Audi has options for hybrid V8 power, such as the 4.0-liter twin-turbo V8, producing up to 660 horsepower. That engine is also compatible with plug-in hybrid systems.

Conclusion
The new A6 goes on sale from the 1st of April, and front-wheel drive petrol models will cost just over 1.8 Crore in the international market. This car has always been comfortable and refined, and Audi has made minor improvements to make it even better. It is 30% quieter than the outgoing model, and it features a brake-by-wire system designed to feel natural and progressive.
